1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy is published by Parrhesia (“we”, “us”, “developer”)
for the Living Labyrinth mobile application (“App”, “game”).
Package name: com.parrhesia.maze.
By downloading and using the game, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to this policy. We may update this policy from time to time; material changes will be reflected on this page with a new “last updated” date.
2. Information We Collect
Living Labyrinth does not offer account registration or sign-in. We do not directly collect personal identifiers such as your name, email address, or phone number.
Your game progress, settings, and statistics are stored only on your device (SharedPreferences). This includes:
- Level progress, star records, and best times
- In-game currency (coins), themes, and upgrade status
- Sound, vibration, neon effect, and tilt control preferences
- Daily maze streak and daily mission progress
- Achievement status
- Language preference
This data is not sent to our servers and cannot be accessed remotely by us. If Android backup is enabled, it may be included in your device backup, which is governed by Google’s or your device manufacturer’s backup policies.
To keep the App free, we display Google AdMob ads (banner, interstitial, and rewarded). AdMob and its partners may collect data for ad delivery and measurement, such as:
- Advertising ID (AD ID)
- IP address and approximate location
- Device model, operating system version, and language settings
- App interactions and ad impression/click data
3. How We Use Information
- Provide the game experience and save your progress on your device
- Remember your settings and preferences
- Schedule daily maze reminder notifications
- Display ads to offer free content
- Manage legal consent for users in the EEA and UK (Google UMP)
- Offer in-app review prompts via Google Play In-App Review
4. Permissions
The App uses the following Android permissions:
- Internet / Network state — loading ads
- Advertising ID (AD_ID) — serving personalized or non-personalized ads
- Vibration (VIBRATE) — haptic feedback (can be disabled in settings)
- Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS) — daily maze reminders (optional)
- Boot completed (RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED) — rescheduling reminders after device restart
- Accelerometer — optional tilt controls; the game works on devices without this sensor
5. Ads and Consent Management
In the EEA, UK, and other regions where required by law, your privacy choices are requested via Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) before ads are shown. You may decline personalized ads or change your preferences later in your device’s ad settings.
Rewarded ads (revive, map reveal, slow the boss, etc.) are shown only at your choice and grant in-game benefits after you watch the ad.

6. Third-Party Service Providers
The App uses the following third-party services:
- Google AdMob — Google Privacy Policy
- Google Play In-App Review — in-app rating prompts (part of Google Play services)
These providers have their own privacy policies; some of your data may be processed on their servers.
7. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. If you use the in-game “Share” feature, your score or message is shared only through the app you choose (messaging, social media, etc.); that sharing is entirely under your control.
We may share data with authorities when required by law, court order, or to protect our rights.
8. Children’s Privacy
The App is intended for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child’s data has been collected, please contact us and we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
9. Data Retention and Deletion
Your local game data remains on your device until you uninstall the App or use “Reset Progress” in the Settings menu. Resetting deletes game progress, coins, achievements, and statistics; preference settings such as sound and vibration are kept.
Retention of data collected by AdMob is governed by Google’s policies.
10. Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data. However, no method of transmission or electronic storage is 100% secure.
11. International Data Transfers
Data processed through Google services may be transferred to Google servers in the United States and other countries. Google uses appropriate safeguards (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses).
12. Your Rights (GDPR and Similar Laws)
Depending on your location, you may have rights under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the UK GDPR, Turkey’s Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK), and similar laws, including:
- Knowing whether your personal data is being processed
- Requesting information about processing
- Knowing whether data is used for its stated purpose
- Requesting correction of incomplete or inaccurate data
- Requesting deletion or erasure
- Changing ad preferences or opting out of personalized ads
Because local game data is stored on your device, you can fulfill most requests directly by resetting progress in the App or uninstalling it.
